Netherlands: Cow poop! to power

If you are simply laughing...then you got to stop...i mean this is awesome stuff......i have always thought why on earth do they have to look for Compressed Natural Gas or CNG inland or offshore to run cars and bikes and what not. Somehow i feel there have been these awefully over-active mad scientist and engineers who cook all of this just to proove something. But Alas! somebody has done it.

This is another form of gas and oh yeah! its all of that aweful smell thats going to be burnt properly for a good reason to get power as in heat energy to people nearby this thermal plant in the Netherlands.

This report is still fresh of the press i.e. my favourite Yahoo! news.....to read more click here

Wireless-Electricity or Wireless Power

Hey guys, i wanted to post this the first time but didn't get enough time to do that, dozzed off a bit. Anyways in this post what i'm going to mention is nothing new for people who are so much into physics. Its got something to do with Nicola Tesla and yeah its not the particle gun he invented but its his other project that never made it into this world of ours today. This man can be rightful creditted for inventing Wireless-Electricity, can you believe that.

Anyways, some new buffs are not bold enough to work more on those ideas probably and have come up with nothing but neat stuff. Come on, stuff getting its power non-stop and without a wire or a batter pack....aint that awesome.

I just pray stuff like this will be cheap for us all to buy real fast i'm sure as hell tired of plugging and unplugin my notebook or cell phone.

Massive eco-friendly structures

Hello readers! I made this blog to firstly say a big thank you! to the people who are thinking big and yet thinking green. Though I feel we are still far or its not yet brought to everyone's notice of smaller building projects in the pipeline or drawing boards or already set into motion. But I will continue to search for more.

I have put up the pictures of the most awesome structures, most of which are still not completed, but its great to see such ideas come to reality in such a big way. Now I ask you readers to imagine this if structures as big as these lets say were built and really work can't we design full communities in an eco-friendly way full of green tech? or if we get there are we going to stop there only?

Another question bothering me or I don't know if many of you thought of the same but I could not find stories of overhauling existing structures to make them eco-friendly.

This question actually should be asked by many of you out there because an ordinary person like myself would actually think how all of this will help me the individual. Okay lets now again get on that imagination seat and start to first imagine we are already living in a environment friendly green city or town so what will be my life like. For starts in the morning I wouldn't have to worry about garbage truck making a lot of noise, because its running on green technology, and now to my trash, i bet there would be lots of such utility companies working throughout the day again simply because they need your trash for many reasons like recycling plastic, aluminium, paper or simply generate electricity from biomass(the ugly organic waste u dump like extra food or left overs or expired stuff even).

If i'm not an early bird to get up early in the morning then i wouldn't have to worry about those loud noisy vehicles and traffic simply because hybrid cars or totally green cars make a lot less noise compare to cars running on gas or gasoline/petrol. Now say i finaly decide to get out of bed, i can easily take a hot shower or use hot water to wash up because it stays heated automatically because of the thermal energy absorbed from the ground. From there on to breakfast, and here the amount of energy used for my microwave or electric stove will all cost me much less if i were to use a dual option of a gas stove and a microwave or a coffee maker.

Okay i'm all done with getting up from bed, now i get to the part where i have to get ready or like get into some clothes to go to work so i do that. Here you would not save much but bio-degradable clothes will soon become cheaper and also offcourse to get rid of old clothes wouldn't be much of a hassle simply because there is some firm out there willing to take your used clothes to make something out of it. I can keep going on but the whole reason for me to imagine all of this is only to point out we all should get out of this habit of getting used to things that always come with some sort of string attached.

By saying strings attached, I mean the gas or gasoline we use in our cars can come to a scarce supply someday or the prices always shoot up instead of go down. This means that we will always have to worry about it someday or the other. Even if we use natural gas which is more cleaner its got the same story that it may eventually become hard to find and so its prices may shoot up. Instead if we had to worry only about how to recharge the batteries of our car and then change them from time to time as they wear out would be so much more relaxing.

Having mentioned all about gas/petrol/natural gas, now i want to point out to the fact that continuous trend of rise in prices of food, meals at any joint, a cup of tea or coffee or even your favourite gadgets or clothes or shoes all are because of this bad variable we live with everyday. I know this may sound bad to those countries that have an amazing abundance of such fuels and manage to keep their prices stable throughout but i guess we all don't have to use such fuels. For countries which donot have such energy resources at their disposal have to go through a lot of crunches in their yearly budget just to keep up with the need for such fuels in their countries.

I'm getting tired of bragging about eco-friendly and green tech now, so i hope you readers will go and check out the links i put up that helped me put up this blog with its pictures. I will be writing more about these green technologies. But I guess this is as far as I'm going to go. Hope you enjoyed it! I think i'll go get some sleep now.
